A2 English Listening: My Four Friends
Hi, my name is Eddie. I live in Toronto, Canada, and today, I want to tell you about four of my friends.
First, I want to tell you about my best friend Richard. Richard and I have the same birthday! I was born on June 15th, and he was born on June 15th. But I was born in 2001, and Richard was born in 2003. Richard works at the library. We are friends because we both love to read books.
Next, I want to tell you about my friend Anna. She lives in Montreal, but her mom and dad live in Toronto. Anna visits her parents three times per year. When she comes to Toronto, we always go to the same café for coffee and cookies.
Next, I want to tell you about Bianca. She is actually my sister's best friend, but we are good friends, too. Bianca is a photographer. She takes pictures of weddings, birthdays, and other special events. She also travels a lot and she write about her travel experiences on her online blog. She is very creative!
Finally, I want to tell you about my friend Rocky. He's the same age as me, and he loves animals. In fact, he has two dogs—Betty and Bibi. Rocky is in school, and he is studying to be a veterinarian. I think he is perfect for that job.
