Dad: Good morning, Mike. You look tired. Did you sleep well last night?

Mike: Not really. I went to bed after midnight, and I couldn't fall asleep.

Dad: Why did you go to bed so late?

Mike: I had to study for a physics test.

Dad: Ah. And why couldn't you fall asleep?

Mike: You didn't hear it? There was a big thunderstorm in the middle of the night.

Dad: No, I didn't hear it. I actually love the sound of rain at night.
